Last updated: 28 July 2026
GK Guru ("the App") is an exam-preparation quiz platform for Indian government exam aspirants (SSC, UPSC, UPPSC, and similar). This page explains what information the App collects, why, and how it is used.
Information We Collect
- Name and phone number — collected when you create a profile in the App, used to identify your account and show your progress if you use the App on a different device.
- Language and course preference — which exam you're preparing for and whether you use the App in Hindi or English.
- Quiz activity — scores, streak, bookmarked questions, and quiz history, used to show your personal progress, analytics, and leaderboard ranking.
- Notification token — if you allow notifications, a device token is stored so we can send you reminders. No personal message content is shared with any notification provider beyond the reminder text itself.
- Support messages — if you contact us through the in-app Help & Support form, your message, name, and phone number are sent to our support email so we can respond to you.
We do not collect your email address, exact location, contacts, photos, or any device data beyond what's listed above.
